Zakat calculations or payment records

Transactions and categories
Zakat assets and calculations
Budget settings
App preferences

is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms. This data is not transmitted to any external servers.

Third-Party Services

PennyWise may use the following third-party services:

Gold Price API: We fetch current gold prices to calculate Nisab thresholds. Only the request for price data is made; no personal information is sent.
Firebase Analytics (Optional): Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. No personal or financial data is collected.

iCloud Sync

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and only accessible by you. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Bank Connection

If you use the bank connection feature, connections are handled through secure third-party providers. Your bank credentials are never stored in our app or on our servers.

Children's Privacy

PennyWise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
